We had hoped to be in Almanor for our fourteenth wedding anniversary pictures, but we sheltered at home over the Fourth of July holiday.  Upper Bidwell Park was the perfect location to document this time in our lives.  We were able to add in some family and maternity pictures during this session as well.  I always love to get updated individuals of each child, whether we are dressed up for a formal session or if it is just for our weekly Sunday family picture together.  You can view our love story here:

Since we were taking our own pictures this summer, everyone was needed to use the camera at some point.  (Fish was in charge of the iPhone.)  Farmer J took the majority of the pictures of the three children together while I was setting up the tripod and camera for our family picture.  He also took some of the maternity pictures of me, but Yogi also has quite a few spotlighted in this blog post.  B took most of the anniversary pictures of Farmer J and myself.

This blog is slightly different than my regular blog posts, because you are getting the opportunity to view some of our behind the scenes and outtakes. When I am the photographer and mother of the family, I get a little more attitude and yawns than if someone else was the lead photographer.  I love seeing these pictures, and I save them for the children’s annual pictures books they are gifted at Christmastime.  Farmer J even has some of his personality shining through his pictures!  We still held hands too tightly and leaned too far into one another but the bickering was minimal and we had fun together!
