Lisa and Dan met their family out in their rice field for their family session. Everyone big and little enjoyed standing out in the field. We were able to capture some gorgeous pictures of their whole family, Lisa and Dan with all of their grandchildren, the cousins together, and all of the individual families. It was the perfect day out in the rice check. You can view the cousins’ previous session together here.

I had called earlier in the day to check in about the rain. Rain and thunderstorms had been hitting and missing all day. We had decided to chance it and get the session in, because the rice harvest was going to be starting up and there would not be time to get the farmers back for the family picture. We could see dark clouds in the distance. Raindrops hit my windshield as the got in my car to return home from the session.

Lisa and Dan, thank you for trusting me with your family pictures. I am glad we were able to get your session in before harvest (and the rain!) started. Your family is beautiful. These are some of my favorite sessions, because I get to see the whole family as a unit and how everyone interacts together. The personalities of your grandbabies made me smile.
