Jackie contacted me for some updated pictures for their family’s business website and to take some pictures of Jackie and Natalie with her babies. We met out at Knaughty Farms in Artois, CA.  Jackie had the perfect spot in mind and we took pictures with the rolling hills lined with all olive trees. I felt like we were and a different part of the world!  We have their olive oil at home and it is wonderful.  I suggest you try it out.  You can view more family sessions here.

Watching the cousins interact was probably my favorite part of the day.  With young children, you never know what you will get or how long they will last, but we have too many pictures of everyone!  Some of the canids and behind the scenes were my favorite.  Mother and child pictures hold a special place in my heart too.  Having four children of my own, it can be rare to get a picture with only one child at a time.  I think I had as much fun as the children did!

Jackie and Natalie, what can I say?!  You have the best family. I felt like I spent the afternoon playing with all of you and not working at all! Your babies bring me so much joy and I smile when I look at your pictures.  Children of farmers are lucky to have the opportunity to grow up in this environment.  Thank you for inviting me to your special piece of land and for allowing me to spend some time with you and your babies.  I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your session on this special piece of land.
