The pastor shared that words can sometimes be hard to find. Apologizing, saying “I love you”, or “I need you” can be difficult to say at times. He told Alanna and Joseph that no matter where they live, they need to have a rose bush. If they ever see a rose on the counter or in the house, they automatically know what the other is trying to say or that they need them at this moment. During the ceremony, Alanna and Joseph exchanged their first gifts as husband a wife, single red roses. The pastor then had all of the married couples stand with the newlyweds and he said a prayer for the couples. 

Alanna had prayed for Joseph, not knowing that it was going to be Joseph, and her prayer was answered. The day before their wedding day, Alanna prayed for rain and she woke up to rain on her wedding day. Prayers may not be answered when you like, but when the timing is right. Alanna and Joseph had a gorgeous wedding day! The rainstorm had just passed and the sun was out for their first pictures as husband and wife. Their closest family and friends were present for their church ceremony and their full support system helped them celebrate at the reception. The day was full of smiles, laughter, and love. Alanna and Joseph, Farmer J and I are still talking about your beautiful wedding day. You two are so in love and you are the perfect match for each other. I hope you follow the advice from Alanna’s father, to kiss each other hello and goodbye.
