Payton traveled to Chico to visit with family and to have her high school senior portraits taken. We had to postpone her session due to the California shelter-in-place orders, and we were finally able to have her session. Even though her senior year did not go as planned, she is finishing out the year with her fellow 2020 seniors with online distance learning. Next year, Payton has planned to head out to Colorado for her first year of college. Criminal Justice is a possible future major. Payton brought her mother, Alice, and her aunt along for her senior pictures in the beautiful grass fields of Chico. You can view her aunt’s family pictures here.
Payton rocked her senior session with grace and confidence! The blooming wildflowers were the perfect backdrop for her spring senior session. Payton has the most perfect frames for her glasses; and even though she looks stunning with or without her glasses on, I am in love with the pictures where she is emphasizing them as an accessory and giggling! I am so happy that we were able to get some pictures with Payton and Alice together. I know that this is not only a special time for Payton, but it is just as special for Alice. It is easy to see that they share a beautiful mother and daughter relationship.
Payton, congratulations on all that you have accomplished! No one can ever take this diploma away from you. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to finally meet you, at a distance of course! You are living through a unique time period, and you will have the opportunity to forever share that you were a high school senior when this pandemic started. I wish you the best and cannot wait to see where your road takes you! Congratulations!
