Mackenzie and Matt had a wedding last weekend! Not a Covid wedding. A real wedding. A wedding with 20 bridal party members and lots of wedding guests. There were toasts; lots of toasts and laughter. Laughing until you cry laughter. It was a wedding that was good for the soul. Mackenzie and Matt had a stunning wedding day with so many friends and family to support them on this big day. You can view their engagement session here.
Mackenzie and Matt’s wedding was held at a very special location for Mackenzie. It was held at her parents’ property in the outskirts of Willows. You would have never guessed that the venue was a retired dairy farm. Not only did they transform the property into an upscale wedding venue, but they put a tremendous amount of personal touches into their work as well! They made their amazing silo bar and every piece of it was found on the dairy! A barn had burned down and they used charred wood to create a large ten-foot cross. There was sentimental decor was scattered all over the reception site. Specifically, the grandfather’s collection of antique milk bottles were used as flower vases and the late grandmother’s milk cans that she used to come to collect milk at the dairy were be used as decor. The longer you looked around at the venue, the more you spotted. Nothing was overlooked! It took everyone’s help to transform the dairy into a wedding venue and I know that Mackenzie and Matt are forever grateful.
Mackenzie and Matt, what a grand wedding! The love you two share for each other radiates to others. No wonder you had so much help preparing for this wedding weekend because everyone loves you! Your wedding day was magical! From Ace and Ginger having a special time in the day with you to all of the special mementos placed throughout the venue. You two had smiles on your faces the whole day and this is exactly what everyone needed after this past year. I am so excited for you to see some of my favorites from your gorgeous country wedding.
