Karen + Steven Irongate Garden Inn

It was a sunny spring-like day upon arrival at Karen and Steven’s wedding day at Irogate Garden Inn. It was during bridal party pictures before the ceremony that we heard the first crack of thunder in the distance while the sunshine still shone on us. Just as the ceremony began, the rain started with thunder echoing in the sky. By the end of the ceremony, all umbrellas were up and in use, as the bride and groom exchanged their vows in the company of their family and friends. It had the rain vibes from the ceremony in the movie Sweet Home Alabama, except that the bride fortunately left with the original groom. You can view Karen and Steven’s engagement session here.

No detail was overlooked on Karen and Steven’s wedding day. Their keen eyes for details were obvious as you walked onto the property and saw each item thought out with time and care. Their loved ones helped them to create a cathedral window altar for their ceremony, and each couple was honored by the number of years married on a unique honeycomb display.

Karen and Steven, thank you for trusting me with your wedding day. You are so very lucky to have such a powerful support system to take you through marriage. What you have is special, and I hope that you are able to see the rare love that you two share. Congratulations! I am looking forward to seeing where your love story takes you.
