Erica and Daniel started off their session for their small family of three. Then soon after booking, Erica asked if their mothers could join along too. Absolutely! Mothers are important people, especially when they also have the title of grandmother. Erica and Daniel have had the unfortunate experience of losing a child. If you look closely, sometimes you will see a white heart necklace intertwined in their hands. This is in remembrance of their daughter, Elsie; and includes her as part of this family picture day.
Erica and Daniel had one annual picture they enjoy retaking each year, and this was located on the front porch with their big beautiful glass door behind them. From there, Erica was happy to capture any and all of the pictures in between. We moved from their front porch to their beautiful walnut orchard in the back. The sunlight was perfectly falling behind the trees. We were able to capture a large combination of pictures including the grandmothers. You can view more family sessions here.
Erica and Daniel, thank you for trusting me to capture your family. You have a beautiful home and family. I could have hung out all evening with you and your fun-loving family. Who would have guessed that a step stool would be the key to a toddler’s smile? I am excited for you to see some of my favorites from your family session.
