Maira and Eddie celebrated their love and engagement with a session in Upper Bidwell Park. They brought along their sweet puppy dog, Jax, and Maira’s sister, Belinda, to be the dog wrangler. The day was all about Maira and Eddie, but it was obvious that Jax was the spoiled one throughout the session. The temperatures shot up again for the day, but the heat could not put a damper on their love. You can view more engagement sessions here.
Maira and Eddie first met in high school through Maira’s cousin. When they went on their first date, they did not hit it off. A few years later, Maira was working in a grocery store; and Eddie spotted her again. He asked her out on a second first date, and this time the sparks flew. 💕⚡️
On New Year’s Day, Maira was tired from staying up late the night before; but Eddie insisted that they drive hours to Half Moon Bay for dinner. When they arrived, Eddie said that they had to walk down a certain path to get to the restaurant. When Maira saw the rose petals sprinkled on the ground, she knew something was up. Before she knew it, Eddie was down on one knee; and she said yes! Eddie had lined up a photographer to capture the proposal. That is a way to start the New Year!
Maira and Eddie, what a fun evening I had with you all! Jax may have only slightly stolen the show. I felt like my camera was constantly on him due to his cuteness. The love you two share is easy to see, and I am happy to see what lies in your future. I am excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your engagement session. Belinda, you rocked your doggy duties and pampering that little pup!
