Kirsty and Ethan celebrated their engagement with a session in Upper Bidwell Park.  Their timing for the spring wildflowers was perfect.  They laughed and giggled their way through their session.  They are now professionals and they will rock their wedding day pictures!  They will be getting married this June in Mexico.  You can view more engagement sessions here.

How They Met

Kirsty met Ethan through her brother. Ethan is Kirsty‘s brother’s best friend. Kirsty does not enjoy being alone so when everyone went home for Thanksgiving, Ethan came over to hang out. They watched a movie and ended up playing a truth or dare game on a phone app. The dare said to kiss someone to your left. They shared a kiss and sparks flew!

 The Proposal

Kirsty and Ethan had been visiting San Diego and on their final day on vacation, within two hours before Kirsty needed to head to the airport, they took five more minutes to enjoy the Sunset Cliffs. Kirsty set up a self-timer to take a picture together. When Kirsty reviewed the picture she noticed how awkward Ethan looked and she decided to give it another try. When she turned around from setting the camera, Ethan was down on one knee with the ring box out. Kirsty said yes!

Kirsty and Ethan, thank you so much for trusting me with your engagement session.
