Michelle contacted me sharing that the boys had recently received fresh haircuts and their fall outfits were selected, they just did not have their family session booked. Michelle’s husband, Scott, had the weekend off and Michelle was wondering if there was any chance I had any availability over the next four days to update their family pictures. Fortunately, I was already going to be in Orland for a portrait session, so I was able to swing by Michelle and Scott’s house too!  You can view Michelle and Scott’s family session from last year here.

I started taking Michelle and Scott’s pictures when their younger son was a newborn. It has been such a treat to watch their family grow and to witness their sweet children’s personalities blossom. I love whenever I am with their family because it reminds me of my own.  (Except, we don’t own any chickens or goats.)  Michelle and Scott have quite the setup for creating wonderful family memories. When I asked Michelle if she had anywhere in mind she was hoping to take pictures, she took me to the backyard and asked if the picnic bench would work. This was the perfect location for their family pictures this year.

Michelle and Scott, it was wonderful to see your family again this fall. I loved watching your children interact and the fun that they all have by just being together. I hope these family pictures were a bright spot in your year. You have a beautiful family and I hope you enjoy looking back at these pictures over the years. Seeing you print and hanging your pictures on the walls in your home made me smile. I am certain that your babies love looking back on these pictures as well. I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your family session in your beautiful backyard.
