Kelsi and William made a trip up to Chico for their engagement session in Upper Bidwell Park. The storm was rolling with dark clouds during their session, but they beat the rain! Once they finished their session, they were off to sample a potential wedding day caterer for dinner. This sounded like the perfect date while also crossing off items on their to-do list. You can view more engagement sessions here.
Kelsi and William first met when they were both living in San Diego and attending school at San Luis Obispo Nazareth. William had a friend that was actually interested in Kelsi, and that is how they were first introduced. When they were at a friend’s house, it came up that they were both from the same hometown outside of Sacramento. Kelsi was first to suggest that William ask her out on a date and for him to make her his girlfriend. He followed her fantastic suggestion and asked her out on a date. On this first date, they bought burritos and ate them on the beach.
Kelsi and William were visiting friends back in their college town in San Diego. William was off to go play baseball with his friends while Kelsi and her girlfriend were going to enjoy the sunset by the cliffs on the beach. As she walked down towards the beach, she saw William standing there with a “Marry Me” sign and roses in his hands. Kelsi cried happy tears as she made her way down to the beach and then William proposed. She said yes!
Kelsi and William, I loved everything about your engagement session; and as a result, you have way too many pictures in your gallery! You two were amazing! The love you share was easy to see by the way you pulled each other in close and shared giggles throughout your engagement session in Upper Bidwell Park. I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your engagement session.
[…] “I met someone.” Kelsi had called her mom after meeting William and shared that she had just met someone that seemed too good to be true. Both William’s brother and Kelsi’s sister remember when they heard this sentence. This reoccurring sentence caught everyone’s attention and their intuition was right because this was the real thing with this sweet couple. You can view Kelsi and William’s engagement session here.
