Erin and I were good friends throughout high school, and we played years of softball together. I was so excited when I saw her email pop up in my inbox. I may have actually squealed with delight! It was so much fun to see and hug Erin again! She and her fiancé, Chris, will be getting married next month.  You can view more engagement sessions here.

Erin and Chris are a wonderful match! They feed off of one another and laugh together. They made my job so incredibly easy, because of how comfortable they are in each others arms and because of the love that they share.  I always love engagement sessions; because not only do we get to practice before the wedding day, but I also feel like I am spending the day with friends. I loved seeing what a strong relationship Erin and Chris have.

How They Met

rin and Chris met in nursing school, and they shared classes together.  At this time in their lives, their worlds revolved around their nursing schedules; and they spent a lot of time together.  After exams, Chris would suggest that they celebrate with beers; and Chris constantly flirted with Erin throughout the school year.  They started dating in October; and in November, Erin invited Chris to her family’s Thanksgiving celebration in Tahoe.  He was officially introduced to her amazing family.

The Proposal

Erin had just received a mountain bike for her birthday, and they took a trip to Fort Bragg to explore and ride bikes.  Earlier in the day they had gone whale watching, and then they went for a hike in the bluffs.  Before Erin knew it, Chris was down on one knee mid-hike.  Erin said yes!

Erin and Chris, I am so excited for your wedding day! You two are officially professionals, and you will rock your wedding day! It was so fun to have the two of you in front of my camera. I truly enjoyed every second with you.  You two are so lucky to have found each other. There is so much to celebrate with this new year, and I cannot wait to document your special day for you.
