Due to our lives being put on hold this past spring, Christina’s daughter was not able to document her season of dance and the creative dance costumes she had the privilege of wearing this year. Christina contacted me, and she had hoped to preserve this moment in time. Christina brought along three outfits for her daughter’s session. Not only did I get to see and photograph the festive and colorful costumes, but I also had the opportunity to see plenty of dance moves! It was a joy to witness Christina’s daughter’s personality shine as the session progressed. You can view more portrait sessions here.
Christina works for Lulu’s, and she was hoping to capture one of her daughter’s dance costumes at the LOVE mural painted on the walls of the Lulu’s building. This was the perfect location to capture her daughter, her dance moves, and some mother and daughter pictures together. This location is wonderful for any person, because of the vibrant colors and love that is felt with the murals.
Christina, it was so much fun to officially meet the two of you and to see your daughter in all of her glory. I can tell how much time and dedication she puts into dance, but she could not be there without your support and by being her biggest fan. It was very apparent the amount of prep work you put in for this session, and the pictures are proof that it was all worth it. I look forward to following your daughter’s dance story, and our whole family is looking forward to the next production of Believe! I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from this dance session on the campus of California State University, Chico, and Lulu’s.
