I had first met Sunshine when she was a bridesmaid in Haylee and Derek’s wedding almost a year ago. Shortly after, I then learned that Darin is my hairdresser’s brother-in-law. The town of Chico is amazing, and how everyone is connected! Sunshine contacted me early last month about her interest in almond blossom portraits. Mother Nature gave us so much sunshine and warmth that the almond blossoms went from a few blossoms to full bloom within the week. We ended up moving Sunshine and Darin’s session up sooner to be sure that they would have blossoms and not all green leaves.

Sunshine and Darin are perfect together! They giggled and laughed at all the same moments. They lightly poked fun at each other and flirted throughout their session. Darin is probably a professional model, and he hid that from me.  He was always in the perfect position every single time, and he was willing to try anything and everything! Sunshine glowed throughout the session, and her vibrant personality shined while she was standing next to her man. They have a wide variety of pictures throughout their gallery, and that is all due to these two and how easy they made my job. The hardest part was deciding which of my favorites to select for sneak peeks and this blog post.

Sunshine and Darin, it was so much fun to spend the afternoon with you two. I still cannot believe that Darin ruined my high hopes at Haylee and Derek’s wedding of the frog noises not being frogs and to find out that they were recordings coming from the speaker in the rock!  Your winter wonderland almond blossom session was gorgeous. You two are perfect for each other. I can see how much love you two share by how comfortable you are when you are pulled in close together. I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your spring almond blossom session.
