Julie and Nate met me in Upper Bidwell Park for their fall engagement session. The sunlight in the fall has the perfect romantic golden hour glow. The sunlight made them look like they were angels glowing in the evening light. When I first met with Julie and Nate, their son was one month old. They hoped to take their engagement pictures when their son was a little bit older for him to be easily included in their session. He did amazing, and he made for the perfect addition to their session. Please click here to view more engagement sessions.
Julie and Nate met through work. Julie thought that Nate was cute, so she kept assigning him to work with her. As time went on, they learned that they really enjoyed each other’s company. They learned that they loved each other so much and knew that they would be together forever, so they decided to have a child together.
During Julie and Nate’s maternity session in the spring almond blossoms, Nate surprised both Julie and their photographer by going rogue and not doing the pose that the photographer suggested. Instead, Nate got down on one knee; and he asked Julie to marry him. Their photographer captured the whole proposal!
Julie and Nate, I cannot believe how much your sweet baby boy has grown since we met up earlier in the year! It was wonderful getting to spend the evening with the three of you. I love how comfortable you two are together and how easy it is for you to move in each other’s arms (with a baby between you too!). You two are officially professional models for the pictures on your wedding day! I am so excited for your May wedding at Butte Creek Country Club to capture this momentous day with you. I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your engagement session.
