Michelle + Scott Honey Run Covered Bridge | Family

Michelle and Scott wanted to have their fall family portraits taken at the Honey Run Covered Bridge, because this is the same location they had their engagement pictures taken years ago.  We even reenacted one picture from their engagement session that they have framed in their home.  Only this time around there are three children in the background!  Selecting a location that holds a special place in their hearts makes these pictures mean that much more special to Michelle and Scott.  Please click the following blog posts to view recent fall family portraits: Michelle + Jared, Michelle + Dan, and Lindsey + Albert.

One of my favorite things about family sessions is that I get the opportunity to get Michelle in front of the camera with her family.  She is usually the one that is trying to take pictures to capture the moment for her children, yet she is rarely in pictures.  I love to have her babies cuddle up with just her.  Another favorite of mine is getting to spend one-on-one time with their family.  If we are at a barbecue with Michelle and Scott’s family, I may get to talk with Michelle and Scott briefly until our attention is pulled away by our family or friends.  At a family session, I get to talk to each child and learn a little bit more about their personalities.  I learned that everyone loves candy, especially when it is rewarded for great smiles!  I also learned that it was Scott’s birthday week and what his birthday plans were.  I am sure that family pictures were his top gift request.  😉

Michelle and Scott, I absolutely loved getting to spend the evening with your family!  They are amazing!  I loved seeing how much everyone had grown in a year and getting to talk and joke with you both.  Your family did a wonderful job for their fall pictures, and I am glad that you have the tough decision to decide which ones to frame and not me!  I am so glad that Scott was able to attend pictures, and that he was not away on a fire.  Thank you, Scott, for all that you do as a fireman and protecting us.  I look forward to the next event that brings our families together!Honey Run Covered Bridge Fall Family Portraits_0001.jpg
