Sarah + James New Clairvaux Vineyard | Anniversary
This happy couple had requested for their two-year anniversary portrait session to be held at the New Clairvaux Vineyard, in Vina, California. This couple has been out to visit the vineyard multiple times. They were hoping to capture the beautiful grounds for their session. I had never made the short drive to visit the vineyard and to see all that was offered there. When my mother heard where I was headed, she asked to join along. She already knew quite a bit about New Clairvaux and shared bits of information as we walked around the grounds. During the anniversary session, the love birds taught me even more about the church stones and the blessing of the grapes. The location looked even better when I saw how much love these two shared for one another. Plus, they picked out an amazing wardrobe that went along well with their surroundings! The evening was fun and casual. We walked, chatted, and took pictures along the way. They told me multiple times how much fun they were having and that this was a great way to celebrate their anniversary. I love to hear that they are having fun; because when they look back on these pictures, I hope that they feel the joy they had in this moment. I hope they feel the love in their hearts and they can hear the laughter in their pictures.
With these two already being dressed up on their wedding anniversary date, they were off to dinner after their portrait session. They were hoping to visit Lassen Steak House down the road, but we learned it was closed for the evening. They were then choosing between Fifth Street Steakhouse or sushi. Wine probably made the menu after our walk around the vineyard and all of our talking of wine during their session.
