Glowing and Growing
Mommy-To-Be wanted her maternity session to be held at the Honey Run Covered Bridge, just outside of Chico, California. She loved the scenery, and her wardrobe was superb to make her and her baby bump stand out in this natural setting. She rocked the black booties! This is not an easy task while pregnant. As you can see in the pictures below, she was an amazing maternity model; and she looked very comfortable in front of the camera. Daddy-to-Be had to work this evening, so Auntie tagged along for the session. If you look closely at the picture where Mommy-To-Be is sitting down, she is leaning on Auntie right next to her. Bringing Auntie along made for quite a few extra laughs and created some genuine smiles.
During her session, we chatted about what it is really like to have a boy versus a girl, flu shots, pediatricians, doctor interviews, and a hospital tour. There is so much out there to learn as a mommy-to-be! There are many choices to be made, and it does not ever stop. Baby will be born; and then there is a whole new list of decisions to be made, such as, which brand of diapers, sleeping schedules, and when to introduce solids. She and Daddy-To-Be are up for the challenge of sleepless nights and endless baby cuddles.
They are both excited for this new stage in their lives, and they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby boy. There is nothing quite like finally getting to hold your baby boy in your arms after carrying him for over nine months. Keep on glowing and growing that adorable baby bump!
