Two Cute
Happy Birthday to this photogenic two year old! She had the opportunity to celebrate her second birthday with three celebrations! We had an early morning session; because when you are two years old, this is when you are up and possibly your best time of day. The day was going to be hot, but the morning temperature was perfect to capture a birthday girl and her grandmother.
This sweet little lady started the session out a little shy as we walked to our starting location, but her smiles were hard to hide as soon as she started to walk hand in hand with her grandmother. Grandmothers are amazing people. They always have a way to give you the comfort you need. This may be due to the fact that they have been a parent and they now excel at being a grandparent. They can focus on this moment in time, and they see all of the amazing traits their grandchild holds.
This birthday girl was happy to walk, ride in the wagon, sit in the rocking chair, read on her own, and cuddle up with grandma to read a favorite book. I did not see any sign of the terrible twos appearing any time soon. She must have a case of the terrific twos. Her grandmother had done a wonderful job with the birthday girl’s wardrobe, the freshly picked flowers from their yard, the fun wagon, and a bag full of favorite books.
My favorite part of the session was when I asked the birthday girl to kiss her grandmother’s nose. She thought this was so silly, and it allowed me to capture their genuine smiles and laughter. I hope that every day she has the opportunity to smile like she does when she is with her grandmother. Have a wonderful third year of life!
