Bridget and Kory Comanche Creek Greenway | Family
This beautiful wife and mother was my co-worker in the physical education world for ten years. She helped me with my wedding planning, we went through four pregnancies during our time together, and we were there for each other during the tougher days in our lives. I was so happy their family gave me the opportunity to photograph them and to capture their memories.
Their baby girl is quickly growing into a beautiful young lady. She is very active in dance and swimming. Before our photography session, she had a swim-a-thon and swam 170 laps. That is almost two miles! I know that their daughter loves to accessorize, so I mentioned that she could bring some of her favorite pieces with her. She brought a plastic ziplock bag filled to the top of her favorite pieces! She wanted me to choose, but I let her choose the ones that meant the most to her.
As I talk and instruct during a session, sometimes I have to say a funny comment for a smile. The husband was a professional at being a comedian. I may need the husband to join me on my next session, because his humor was perfect for the photography world. He had his family smiling, and this made my job easy. I may be stealing some of his lines for my future sessions too!
My co-worker and friend has always been very stylish. I knew she would do a great job with her outfit, but I did not know that she would be selecting the whole family’s wardrobe and knocking it out of the park! As they were getting out of their car, I immediately knew I wanted her dress and her shoes. I heard that her husband came out in black pants and she told him, “I did not envision you wearing those”. He changed into lighter pants that met her vision. I love when families step it up a notch and get dressed up for their session.
It was wonderful to catch up, laugh, and chat. I even received a hug from their daughter at the end of the session. This family received beautiful pictures that will last a lifetime, but that hug was the best part of the whole session for me.
Oh my gosh Amber we love love love your blog. You are such a professional & we enjoyed every min we spent with you ????love you to pieces!!! Thank you again & we look forward to another session with you ???? Kory said you can use his lines anytime..????????

[…] Bridget and Kory have one athletic young lady! She spends most of her days attending sports practices and some days she has multiple practices for different sports. She enjoys softball, basketball, swimming, and golf. Just because she is athletic, this does not mean that she cannot be feminine. We did this sporty princess session to celebrate their daughter’s eleventh birthday. This session is one of my favorite sessions to date!
