Marcelle + Kevin Skyway | Family
Marcelle and Kevin’s children had a Friday off of school, and we were hoping the rain would not get in the way of their session. The thunderstorm that had rolled in the night before had cleared out. We met at the Skyway Bike Trail, in Chico; because this trail holds a special place in this family’s heart. The rock wall and golden glow of the grasses made their session very unique and unlike any other I have done. Beautiful white clouds speckled the sky and allowed us to move with the sunlight.
Marcelle warned me that the toughest part of this session may be getting her teenagers, that are close in age, to look happy together. This was not even an issue! If these two were not thrilled to take a picture together, they were great sports; because they followed my directions and gave me their beautiful smiles. I cannot even imagine them not getting along. They even trusted me to practice a new pose for me! During their session, were able to get plenty of family pictures; but I also love that we were able to get mother-daughter pictures, father-son pictures, the siblings together, individuals, and just Marcelle and Kevin together.
Marcelle and Kevin, I can tell how much your children love you by their cooperation and effort to make this a fun experience for everyone. They are intelligent, witty, and fun people to be around. I truly had fun getting the opportunity to spend the afternoon with your family. You are doing a beautiful job raising wonderful people. The extra time and effort you put into your wardrobe paid off! Everyone coordinated their outfits so well, and you all look amazing! I hope that your family enjoyed these family portraits as gifts, and I hope that you enjoy them for the years to come as well.
