The wind was crazy in the valley and finding some protection at the Honey Run Covered Bridge was a relief. As their car pulled into the parking lot, one of the granddaughters had fallen asleep on the ride up the canyon, and she needed to be woken up. She perked right up, and she was happy to be taking fall family portraits with her Gram and Papa. The granddaughters were dressed in matching outfits, Papa looked handsome, and Gram’s shoes added a wonderful red pop of color.
The eldest granddaughter requested pictures on the tree stumps in the beautiful fall glowing sunlight. We captured some very sweet pictures of Gram and her girls. When it was time for Papa to take some pictures with his girls, he could not resist from tickling them. Their laughter was contagious, and you can see that their joy transferred from my camera lens to the pictures below. At one point, Papa was whispering into the ear of the eldest granddaughter. I do not know what he was saying; but she was very serious, and she listened closely to what he was telling her.
Gram and Papa, I am so glad that you got to visit and spend time with your grand babies. These pictures will be passed down to your great grandchildren and your great great grandchildren. Everyone will thrive on seeing the love and joy between you all. I love the tickles and laughter that occurred throughout your session. You made this such a memorable day for your family and for me. Even though Papa could not resist and had to race Gram while walking, you will always have beautiful pictures that will be cherished forever. I am glad your daughter was able to tag along with us, and that she was able to get into some pictures as well. Hugs to you all!
