Is there anything better than being pregnant at the same time with a friend?  Jessica and Kristine wanted to document this special time in their lives by bringing their families together for a double maternity session.  Jessica and Kristine met in nursing school and now they both work on the same floor at the hospital.  A favorite of mine is that I get to often see my clients’ love stories grow over the years.  This is not the first time I have photographed these families.  This is the first time I have photographed them together at the same session and this made the day extra special.  You can view Kristine and Travis’ previous family session here.

Jessica and Kristine each have a daughter and they are both expecting a son.  How wonderful is it that Jessica and Kristine get to go through their pregnancies together?!  I feel like they are straight out of a movie. It seems like something you could only dream of and then their dreams are coming true. We were able to capture the individual families, the expecting parents sans their baby girls, and Jessica and Kristine together.  We were able to capture more than I had hoped for because not only were we chasing the light, but the smoke from the fires in the North State had settled into the valley.

Jessica, Jordan, Kristine, and Travis, thank you so much for trusting me with your family and maternity pictures.  It truly was a wonderful time and we captured more with your families than I could have ever hoped for. Your gallery is larger than usual because we were able to capture so much variety. Your daughters were amazing! I may just have to start using animal smiling prompts to help get children to smile at the portrait sessions!  I am so excited for all of you to see some of my many favorites from your maternity sessions on Jessica and Jordan’s amazing property.  What a view!
