Britney and Joe gathered their family on this beautiful July day to update their family pictures and to document this moment in their lives.  Britney and Joe have children that attend the same school as my children.  We often exchanged hellos, but we did not have the opportunity to officially meet until their session.  Their children are not only beautiful but incredibly sweet too!  It was wonderful to have their family and their sweet smiles in front of my camera. Britney and Joe’s son is two; and like all two-year-olds, he could have cared less about smiling for the camera.  But he cared about being with his family.  When Britney and Joe held the spotlight for a brief moment, their son wanted to be right there with them.  When the girls were taking a picture together, it quickly turned into a siblings’ picture; because he was right there with his big sisters.  Britney and Joe have a variety of family pictures, because their son wanted to be right in the middle of all of the action.  I am happy when we can get one family picture with younger children, but Britney and Joe hit the jackpot with their session.

Britney and Joe, thank you for trusting me to capture your family at this moment in your lives.  I hope you look back on this chapter and smile.  I hope you smile at how little your babies once were with their tiny hands wrapped around your bodies.  It was wonderful to meet your whole family.  I look forward to seeing you all on campus this year.  I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your summer family session.
