Megan and Matt celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a portrait session to document this past crazy pandemic year.  One year ago, Megan and Matt were happy that their venue was allowing them to have a small gathering of their closest family and friends for their wedding day.  Fast forward one year later and these two have spent more time together than ever before due to the coronavirus pandemic.  It was a good experience for these newlyweds because I am sure that they know each other better than they did when they were engaged.  You can view Megan and Matt’s wedding blog post here.

I was so excited for Megan and Matt’s anniversary session and I had been looking forward to it all week.  Megan and Matt arrived looking spectacular in their wardrobes, but their smiles and attitudes were even better!  They walked through the park and they twirled on the trail.  They did not stop smiling all session long.  These two are so comfortable in each other’s arms and they constantly are giggling.  The pandemic paid off because Megan and Matt are even more in love than they were on their wedding day!

Megan and Matt, what a treat to get to see the two of you again!  You two are a joy to work with because truly am just catching up with the two of you as I taking pictures.  I cannot believe how big your gallery ended up being because of all of your amazing anniversary pictures.  Happy first wedding anniversary!  I hope each day continues to be better than the last!  I look forward to watching your love story grow.  I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your anniversary session in Upper Bidwell Park.  I have a lot of favorites!
