It has been brought me so much joy over the years to document Deidre and Jake’s love story! They are adding another chapter as they will be welcoming a second child into their lives in a few short weeks. I first had the opportunity to photograph Deidre and Jake during their engagement season of their lives. Since then, I have been fortunate to document their major milestones, such as maternity sessions, newborn lifestyle sessions, and their family portraits. You can view their previous sessions here.

Deidre and Jake have gone from leisurely portrait sessions to gradually needing their sessions to be time-efficient because we do not know how long we will have a willing toddler. Deidre and Jake’s daughter has always done fantastic with her sessions and this time around was no different. Their daughter loves her mommy very much! As their family grows, I already know that this baby is well-loved by all!

Deidre and Jake, your daughter makes me smile by just looking at her! I smiled the whole time I was editing your pictures and then again as I was putting together this blog post. She is a hoot! Jake, she will be daddy‘s girl one day, just not today. I have truly enjoyed documenting your love story and each of these major milestones in your lives. Your daughters are going to love looking back on these pictures and to see how tiny your older daughter once was and it will seem impossible that your younger daughter had not even made her appearance yet!
