Upper Bidwell Park is a special location for Julie and her children.  They enjoy to hike in the park often and the park holds a special place in their hearts. Julie was hopeful to have their pictures taken here, but the smoke from the recent fires made capturing their session challenging. We had to reschedule their session multiple times, but the blue skies were worth the wait.  Their last family session was in Upper Bidwell as well. You can view the session here.

Julie always does a fantastic job of styling her family. This year was no different.  Julie and her children looked amazing for their session at sunset.  Julie is family friends with The Enos Family and we see her children occasionally throughout the year. It was so much fun to see her children again and to see how the siblings interact together. When Julie first arrived at the session, her son was the first to reach me and he started chatting with me like an old friend. This warmed my heart!

Julie, thank you so much for trusting me with your family pictures in upper Bidwell Park. Your babies are growing too quickly! I cannot believe how old the children are all getting and is obvious that we are not aging.  😉  I would have never guessed that everyone had just returned from vacation hours before your family session because everyone gave me beautiful smiles and you all had joyful spirits. It was a wonderful day for family pictures. I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from our time together.
