I have been following Deidre and Jake’s love story for a few years now. I started out taking pictures for them just before their engagement party. Since then I have captured their maternity, newborn, and now family pictures.  It has been so much fun to watch their love story grow especially including the newest member of their family, their one-year-old daughter. When I first pulled up to their session, I was amazed at how old Deidre and Jake’s little lady was. Her personality was so much fun, and interacting was easy with her. She made me smile by just looking into her gorgeous blue eyes. As you may think, a one-year-old is not always the easiest to photograph; because they have a different agenda than smiling at the camera. However, we were able to capture plenty of family pictures, individuals of their daughter, and Deidre and Jake both separately with the little lady.   When their sweet girl was not being held, she was helping out the community by picking up leaves and rocks from the park path. Your job is never done when you are one year old.

Deidre and Jake, thank you so much for trusting me to take your family pictures again this year. As you can imagine, pictures are now different than your maternity and newborn sessions. Your adorable family of three did an amazing job with pictures, and you two are rocking at this parenting gig!  I hope the new school year is going as smoothly as possible. I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your family session in Bidwell Park.
