When Erin and Scott contacted me about family pictures, I knew that we already shared many mutual friends; and when I looked Erin up on social media, I immediately recognized her from school drop off and pickups. When they pulled up to our meeting location on Butte Creek, they shared with me that both of their girls said “Oh, I recognize her.” You can view more family portrait sessions here.
I will be honest, I definitely overshot with Erin and Scott’s family session. Not only was the golden hour glow dreamy light, but their family stepped out of the car looking superb; and their laughter was contagious! I took too many pictures, and their gallery is larger than I typically deliver; but I could not stop myself from capturing this moment. They made my job so easy, and they have plenty of gorgeous pictures to show for it. I smiled with Erin and Scott’s family during their session, and smiled the entire time I was editing their gallery as well.
Erin and Scott, thank you so much for watching out for me on my step stool that may have been on a slight incline of the hill! My husband, Farmer J, and my mother both greatly appreciate it. Your family is amazing, and it was so much fun to officially meet you all. It was a joy to see your family interact and to watch everyone’s personalities emerge. One of my favorite moments was when your daughters were together for their sisters pictures, and I could easily see the special relationship they have. I loved getting a moment to take some pictures of just the two of you as well. You two have a very important role in your family unit, and you deserved a moment in the spotlight. I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your gorgeous summer family portrait session along Butte Creek.
