I have been fortunate to follow Sammy and Aden’s love story for a few years now. I first started taking their family pictures when their older daughter was two years old.  Since then I have taken multiple family pictures for them; and even more recently, I took their romantic maternity pictures in the spring almond blossoms in Durham. You can view their maternity session here.  A few months ago they were so excited to welcome their baby girl into their lives.  The Big Sister is loving her new role and their newest family member.

Sammy and Aden wished to update their family picture to include their baby girl, but they also extended the invite to Aiden’s brother’s family, Linda and Chris.  Linda and Chris have a sweet and independent 16-month-old daughter.  I coached Linda in volleyball back when I was teaching high school physical education.  It was wonderful to see her again and to meet her wonderful family.  The cousins all showed up in matching overall dresses with floral blouses.

Sammy, Aden, Linda, and Chris, it took me a while to make the connection on how you two were in each other’s social media posts and commenting on one another’s pictures; but once I did, it all made sense that you married brothers!  Your family is so lucky to have such a close bond and to have cousins (all girl cousins!) so close in age.  They will grow up making memories together throughout the years.  I am so glad that your families were able to gather for dinner and family pictures.  I hope these pictures bring smiles to your faces for years, and the girls love looking back on how young they all were.  I am so excited for you to see some of the many favorites from our time together.
