I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Brooke and Ryan’s wedding last year. Since then, they have recently welcomed a sweet baby girl into their growing family. Brooke wanted to update their family pictures with their new baby, and she wanted to include her mom in the session. I later learned that this session was gifted to Brooke’s mom, Allyson, as a Mother’s Day gift. I am not sure that there is a better gift than family pictures! Allyson is a very lucky grandmother! She has two little beauties that adore her. We were able to get plenty of fun pictures of Allyson with each grandchild and then her grandbabies together. We were also able to get many different family combinations including some pictures of Brooke with her mother. I always love to capture mother-daughter portraits; because when you have your own family, it is harder to get just the two of you together in a picture.  We were also able to capture plenty of pictures to document the new little lady in Brooke and Ryan’s lives. Brooke and Ryan wanted to recreate a picture that they had done with their son. It will be fun for everyone to look back on these pictures.

Brooke and Ryan, it was wonderful to see your family again. You have had some big changes this past year. You two make parenting a new baby and a toddler look like a breeze and that you have everything under control. I am so excited to watch your love story grow. I cannot wait for you to see some of my many favorites from your family session in Chico. Thank you for making the trip down the hill to document this very special moment in your lives.
