Anna has three wonderful sons.  She felt like her baby girl was a gift from her mother who passed away a few years ago.  Her baby girl recently turned one year old, and Anna wanted to document this milestone with her only daughter.  Anna wore the same dress that she wore for her maternity pictures when she was pregnant with her sweet girl.  I love that Anna brought in this momentous little detail into their pictures.  However, the dress was just the beginning of her special meanings with the props.  Anna brought a rocking chair that her mother had gifted to one of her sons, a custom sign that Anna created (She is the owner of A Girl and Her Farm.), and the white blanket on which Anna took monthly pictures of her daughter.

Anna and her lovely little lady are so sweet together, and it was fun to have the opportunity to get a glance into their close relationship.  This one-year-old has learned a lot from her three older brothers, and she is very independent.  She is very close to walking on her own; and once she does, she will be trying with all her might to keep up with her big brothers!  Some of my favorites from this session were the special quiet moments with Anna and her daughter.  There are also the gorgeous favorites of mine that are the pictures of the smiling birthday girl!  You can view more family sessions here.

Anna, thank you so much for trusting me to document this milestone in your life.  I have loved following your story and getting to know you better over the years.  You have an amazing family, and I know how much this little lady is truly loved by each family member.  I know that she will have lots of big brother eyes on her as she grows, and they will be watching out for her.  I am sure that they will teach her everything she needs to know, plus a few items that she does not need to know!  Brothers are very special, and she will always hold their relationships close to her heart.  She is a lucky little lady.
