For Shawntel and Phil to get their fall family portraits in this past year, they needed to wait for Phil’s farming schedule to slow down enough for him to be home in time for the golden hour glow, just before the sun sets. I know this farming world well, and I know how hard it can be to commit to a day in the future. Luckily, we were able to find a day with no sports practices; and their family of six was all able to meet on the campus of California State University, Chico, for their fall family portraits. You can view more portraits here.
Shawntel and Phil’s family holds a special place in my heart, because our family has known their family since B and their oldest son were in the third grade together. Since then our families have been on the basketball courts together, celebrated birthdays, and Farmer J and Phil cannot help but talk farming when they are together. Yogi is good friends with their middle son, and he has been fortunate to be in his class for the past two years. With our current shelter in place, we would all love a get-together to see you all again!
Shawntel and Phil, you have the sweetest and most beautiful family! I loved having the opportunity to see all of your babies one-on-one (without my babies around) and to see their true personalities shine! Not only are you lucky to have these four babies in your family, but they are even luckier to have you as their loving parents. The love your family shares is easy to see. I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your fall family portrait session.
