Years ago, I was at a wedding near San Luis Obispo; and I saw a familiar face as a guest. It was Farmer J’s cousin, Tyler, with his wife, Leanne. Fast forward a couple of years, and Leanne and Tyler are now expecting their first child. Leanne had contacted me about a maternity session, and that they were willing to travel to Chico to capture this very special time in their lives. You can view more maternity sessions here.

Leanne and Tyler were both glowing from their excitement of their first child. Leanne looked stunning in both of her gowns. We were able to capture so much variety in their maternity session that their gallery is one of the largest I have ever sent for a portrait session. The wildflowers were just starting to bloom, and this made for the perfect setting for their black and white attire.

Leanne and Tyler timed their maternity session perfectly. Not only did the shelter-in-place go into effect a few weeks later, but the day after their maternity session, Leanne‘s water broke. She spent the next couple of weeks in the hospital, and just recently they welcomed their son into their arms. Congratulations, Mommy and Daddy!
