Kelsey and Ryan have a tendency to have their pictures scheduled on a rainy day. It rained on their wedding day, sprinkled on their maternity session, and had a downpour just before their fall family pictures. Both their maternity and family sessions had already been postponed due to rain. You can view their spring maternity session here. Fortunately, Kelsey and Ryan view the rain as a good luck symbol. As you can see from the pictures below, the rain did not damper their spirits or have an effect on their pictures on the campus of California State University, Chico.
Kelsey and Ryan had their maternity session on the campus of Chico State, and they wanted to visit the campus again for their fall family pictures, this time with their sweet son in their arms. Kelsey was B’s gymnastics coach for years. The gymnastics team got to watch Kelsey’s pregnancy progress, suggest baby names, and they had the fun opportunity to feel baby kicks. It was wonderful to witness Kelsey and Ryan with their job title as parents. It is clear that they love their handsome son with all of their hearts.
Kelsey and Ryan, thank you for trusting me to capture this wonderful time in your lives. It is always a joy to see your family and growing son. I do not love when sessions get postponed, but it did make me smile that the rain ended just as your session began. You are correct, the rain is a sign of good luck for you and your family. You two are rocking your parenting jobs; and not only are you lucky to have your baby boy, he is extremely lucky to have you as his parents. I am so excited for you to see some of the many favorites from your fall family portrait session on the campus of California State University, Chico.
