Marissa and Logan are in their groove after welcoming home their baby girl.  This is their first child, besides their fur babies, and they are over the moon infatuated with her; as they should be.  Their sweet little lady is a bright spot in their lives.  At the time of this in-home lifestyle session, their baby girl was eleven weeks old.   If you just had a baby and you are going to miss the newborn window for a newborn session due to California’s shelter in place, this is a perfect example of how wonderful your pictures can turn out with a little older baby.  It is especially fun if your baby is starting to smile and interact with her parents as well.  You can view more lifestyle sessions here.

Marissa and Logan did not act like first-time parents.  They were calm and collected the whole time I was with them.  If their little one started to fuss, they had a bottle nearby to fill up her little tummy.  They were more than prepared for their session at home.  We were able to capture more than enough variety for their gallery.  We were able to capture family pictures, pictures of Logan with his daughter, Mariss with her daughter, and plenty of individuals of their cute new addition.  Grandma made multiple handmade quilts for her granddaughter and we were able to include these in their pictures as well.

Marissa and Logan, thank you so much for inviting me into your home and allowing me to capture this momentous chapter in your lives.  You two are doing an amazing job as parents.  I am sure your little lady agrees.  Parenthood is not always an easy road, but two are rocking at the new job title!  I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your lifestyle session.  I hope that these bring smiles to your faces for years to come.  I hope that when your little lady looks back on these pictures, she cannot believe how tiny and cute she truly was.
