Betsy and Gary’s daughter contacted me with a desire to update their family pictures.  They lucked out to have blue skies and warm weather.  It was like a spring day in February.  Betsy and Gary were really hoping to have a picture that included all of their seven grandchildren.  We were able to capture that and so much more on this gorgeous day in Upper Bidwell Park.  You can view more family portrait sessions here.

I did not realize that I was going to know just about every single person at this family session until I arrived.  Already having relationships with Betsy and Gary’s family made the afternoon such a treat!  It was fun to see all of the special relationships within Betsy and Gary’s family and to see how everyone interacted with each other.  Betsy and Gary have so much love for their children, their spouses, and especially for all of their grandchildren.  The cousins have a special bond, and there were plenty of hugs shared throughout our time together.

Betsy and Gary, it was such a treat to learn that this beautiful crew is who you call family!  You two are so lucky to have each and every one of them in your lives.  You are not the only lucky ones, your family is incredibly lucky to have the two of you as their parents, in-laws, and grandparents.  I truly enjoyed each moment I spent with your loving family.  I am so excited for you and your family to see some of my many favorites from your session!  I hope these pictures bring smiles to your faces for years to come and for your grandchildren to look back to see how small they all once were.
