Lauren and Greg were wanting to document their son’s first birthday with a family portrait session.  I had met Lauren and Greg’s family last year at the Christmas Preview in Downtown Chico.  It was not until I asked Farmer J if he knew Greg, and Farmer J helped me make the connection that I already knew this sweet family!  You can view more family portrait sessions here.

When Greg started to approach me at their family portrait session, their son started waving to me from a distance.  As these two got closer, his waving continued, and a huge smile was spread across this face.  When Greg and their one-year-old son met me, their son was non-stop smiles.  In true one-year-old fashion, he was interested in every dog; and he said hi to every one that passed by us.  You would have never guessed it by his stellar attitude, but their son had just come from his one-year-old check-up at the doctor’s office.

Lauren and Greg, it was such a treat to spend the afternoon with your family!  I smiled the whole time I was editing your gallery and while I was creating your blog post.  Your son’s grin and personality were amazing!  You two probably think that you are so lucky to have him, but he is the lucky one.  You have survived your first year as parents, and you obviously rocked it!  Great work.  I am so excited for you to see some of the many favorites from your family session.
