Over the summer, I met Monika when she was a bridesmaid at her friend’s wedding, Marci + Jack, at Bailey Creek Golf Course.  I quickly learned that she is married to Shawn; we both grew up in Chico and attended school together.  I had also previously photographed an event for a foundation that is close to their hearts as well.  I was so excited when Monika reached out for a fall family session at California State University, Chico.

Monika and Shawn have the cutest sons!  These two were full of smiles and they loved a little extra attention with tickles.  The boys were able to climb and explore as we ventured across the campus.  We were able to get some beautiful family pictures, with big smiles from everyone, and then a variety of each Shawn and then Monika with their boys, and then some of just Monika and Shawn because they deserve some pictures together of just the two of them as well.

Monika and Shawn, it was so much fun to reconnect!  I truly had a wonderful time spending the afternoon with your cute family.  It was great to see all of you interact and to get a peek into your relationships.  It was even more fun to see your sons open up and for their true personalities to emerge.   You two are so lucky to have these boys in your lives, but they are even more lucky to have you as their amazing loving parents.  I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your fall family portrait session at California State University, Chico.
