Katie and Mike met with me in Upper Bidwell Park for their fall family portrait session. Katie is a fellow photographer and she has accompanied me on many weddings.  It was wonderful to see her in front of the camera this time!  Their daughters have grown up so much since the last time I took their family pictures.  You can view their previous fall family portrait session here.  And Katie and Mike’s girls are no longer looking like little girls either!  They are both growing up so fast.

Even though the sun was shining, this was one of the first chilly fall days for Chico. If you were to see the whole gallery, you would find Katie and Mike’s younger daughter with on her jacket on during any free moment she could.  I loved seeing the laughter between Katie and Mike’s family.  Each and every minute of their session was enjoyable.  I absolutely love all of their family pictures, but the girls only in their sisters’ picture and then Mike with the girls, are all tough competition for my favorites. Not only were we also able to get pictures of the girls with each parent, but we also had time to get pictures of Katie and Mike together.  I love getting a picture of mom and dad together as a couple because they need a little attention as well!

Katie and Mike, I was looking forward to your session all week long.  It was so much fun to photograph and to spend time with your family, that it feels like a job.  I was just hanging out with friends.  I cannot believe how quickly your girls are growing.  I love the humor and fun that your family shares together.  It was fun to see all of you interact and the special relationships you have.  I am so excited for you to see some of my favorite pictures from your fall family session in Upper Bidwell Park.
