Heather and Casey celebrated their love with a fall wedding at Lakeside Pavilion in Chico, California. The ceremony was outside with the gorgeous lake with the sunshine glow in the background as they exchanged their wedding vows. Casey had the honor of walking his soon-to-be mother-in-law down the aisle to her seat as Heather was escorted down the aisle by her brother-in-law. Casey set the mood at the beginning of the ceremony as he voluntarily provided answers to the officiant’s description of love in a union of marriage.
One key person was missing from the front row at Heather and Casey’s wedding; Heather’s father. He may not have physically been present, but he was constantly spoken of throughout the day to allow his legacy to live on. Heather carried a charm on her floral bouquet with her father’s picture on it. It was a sweet reminder of his presence at Heather and Casey’s wedding day.
The constant theme throughout the wedding day and toasts were that Heather and Casey are the perfect matches for each other. They tested their knowledge of their relationship during the reception with a playful game of The Shoe Game (similar to the Newlywed Game). When Heather and Casey’s answers did not match, the guests were able to add in their input. Laughter and smiles filled the evening to support the newlyweds on their wedding day.
