How They Met

Torrie and Glenn are both from Danville, California. They do not remember knowing one another during their years of going to school together.  Fortunately, their timing worked out perfectly to where they were both visiting home from college and they both happened to be at the same bar one night.  Torrie was the first one to recognize Glenn from and she approached him.  She made the connection that she recognized him and they had gone to school together.  They shared their first date at the Prickly Pear Cantina.

The Proposal

Torrie and Glenn were on vacation in Paris. After their dinner, they decided that it would be nice to drink champagne on the lawn beside the Eiffel Tower. They learned that finding cool champagne was very challenging. They went from store to store to only find room temperature champagne. Glenn was getting frustrated about their champagne situation. Torrie was much more relaxed about the situation because she was not aware of Glenn proposal plans and she tried to ease Glenn’s worries. After finding their champagne, Glenn proposed to Torrie in Paris, France at the Eiffel Tower. They celebrated their love and exchanged their vows last June.

Torrie and Glenn, it was a pleasure to meet the two of you and to hear your love story. I love that you two wore your fancy attire to dinner after the session. I hope you receive many more congratulations and happy glances from onlookers. If you two were not professionals after your wedding day, you two are definitely professionals at taking pictures now! You two move so easily in each other’s arms, it is easy to see how comfortable you are together and all of the love you two share. 1. […] Torrie contacted me a few months to share the news that they were expecting a baby!  I had previously photographed their first wedding anniversary last year and I was so excited to watch their love story continue!  Due to the coronavirus, their session was postponed a couple of times, but we finally were able to get their session in with a few weeks prior to the baby’s arrival!  It was wonderful to see Torrie and Glenn again, especially with a baby on the way!  You can view Torrie and Glenn’s first wedding anniversary session here.
