Cally and Kyle Blog Post:  Cally and Kyle’s family welcomed me with open arms into their gorgeous Chico home.  The moment the beautiful front doors opened, Cally and her daughter were there with big smiles.  I immediately was greeted by all family members with hugs, and I was quickly offered doughnuts.  Kyle was home for the morning, and he had treated his family with a doughnut run.  This was big news in the household!  We took a doughnut break, and I ended up leaving with doughnuts in my arms!  I have never felt more welcomed!  Extra Tidbit:  Did you know that Kyle and Farmer J are cousins?

Cally has done a fabulous job decorating their home, and I was so happy to have the opportunity to capture their family pictures inside and outside of their home.  Their backyard is just as stunning as the inside!  Farmer J would be impressed!  Cally and Kyle’s children were just a hoot to be around.  It is obvious how much they adore and love each other.  Their son happily chatted throughout the whole session.  He had lots to say, and he was just happy to be a part of the family.  You can view more lifestyle sessions here.

Cally and Kyle, I had the best time with your family.  Can we please do that more often?  As soon I left your home, I called Farmer J and shared your paint colors and landscaping with him.  I could have hung out with your family all day long.  I truly enjoyed each moment that your daughter had her own opinion of how her portraits should be going and her love and excitement for doughnuts!  I wish we all treated life the way that she does.  Kyle, thank you for taking the morning off from farming for your family portraits.  I could see how much your family enjoyed you being home.  I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your session. I hope these pictures bring smiles to your faces for years to come.
