Anna and Will surprised me throughout their entire engagement session! They are fun, flirty, and they feed off of each other’s personalities to share their genuine love for one another. They brought along their two Rottweiler dogs, Mia and Max, to join them and to play out at the ranch. These two dogs make you smile, just by looking at them! Anna’s aunt, Jaime, had some favorite locations on the property that we used for their golden hour sunset pictures. The light, locations, Anna’s long tulle dress, and floral crown all made this session a dream! Anna and Will added to the fun with their witty humor and radiant personalities.
Anna and Will met one night at Joe’s Bar in Downtown Chico. Will’s roommates sensed that Anna and Will would make a wonderful couple, so the roommates asked her for her phone number. Will ended up contacting Anna. For their first date, Will tried to teach Anna how to drive his stick-shift truck. Even though the lesson on how to drive a stick shift may not have been too successful, the first date was!
Anna soon learned that if she wanted to spend any time with Will, she was going to need to get her hunting license and spend time with him outdoors. Will proposed to Anna on the fishing boat. They were out with Anna’s parents fishing. Anna had broken her line, and she had lost her hook and bait off the line. Will started rummaging through the tackle box and asked Anna to come over to him and pick out her bait. As Anna approached, Will pulled a ring out of the tackle box and asked Anna to marry him. She said yes! Anna’s father knew of Will’s proposal plan, but Anna’s mother did not! As soon as she saw the ring on Anna’s finger, she started tearing up with joy and excitement for her daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law!
Anna and Will, I truly had a wonderful evening with you two. I felt like I was just hanging out with friends and not working. The drive up the mountain felt like a Disneyland ride, and the pictures captured look like a Disney movie. The love you two share is obvious, and I am so excited for your February wedding. Mia and Max were a highlight from your session. Farmer J is bummed he was not able to make your engagement session. He would have felt right at home! He is looking forward to celebrating you two on your wedding day. I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your engagement session!
