Nicole and Brev were wanting to update their family pictures at their country home in Chico.  They were so kind and invited me out to their beautiful home.  We were able to include many sentimental locations and animals into their family session.  We took family pictures in front of their home, in the backyard, and in the field with their horses and donkey.  We included their dog whenever he wanted to join in on the fun.  To see home family sessions at home, please click on Lindsey + Gene, Heather + John, and Haley + Matt.

Nicole and Brev’s sons made me smile during our whole time together.  They had very creative poses they wanted to be sure we captured and we started off the session by capturing an individual picture of the boys with their own pet.  This is exactly why I love photography and taking pictures of people.  I love learning everyone’s personalities and seeing how they interact with their family members.  It is even more special when we are at the family’s own residence and when their fur babies are able to be included as well.

Nicole and Brev, it may have been the hottest day of the summer, but your smiles hid how hot it truly was that day.  Everyone looked amazing after a sunkissed day on the lake and no one would guess it was extremely hot.  Thank you so much for inviting me out to your home to update your family pictures.  You home and property are gorgeous.  Your boys are so lucky to get to grow up out in the country and to have the freedom and run around and explore.  I am so excited for you to see some of my favorites from your session.  I hope these bring a smile to your face when you see them framed in your home.
