Julie and Tanner will soon be welcoming their second baby into their arms.  They chose Butte Creek Canyon as the perfect location to document this special chapter in their lives.  Julie was glowing in her romantic pink dress, and her adorable daughter coordinated perfectly with Julie.  Their daughter may have stolen the show when she teased me at the beginning by making me think that she was not going to smile.  When we started with the family pictures, I could not stop taking pictures, because she was smiling the whole time!  I probably took more pictures of their daughter than of Julie, the star of the session.  You can view more maternity sessions here.

Do you ever look on social media and see that you share 33 mutual friends with someone you recognize, but you are not friends yet? This is what my relationship with Julie was like prior to their maternity session. I had met Julie at a baby shower, and I was often seeing her in my friends’ pictures.  Once I met Julie and Tanner, I felt like we all must have had been friends for years!  Julie and Tanner are professionals at taking pictures, because they did an amazing job throughout their session.  They cuddled up perfectly and then threw in lots of smiles, kisses, and hugs with their daughter.

Julie and Tanner, you have the most adorable and sweet family!  Everyone did an excellent job transitioning through different combinations, all while keeping smiles on your faces.  The temperature was warm, but you would never know it by how amazing you all looked.  My favorites are always the closeups of mommy and daughter.   I love the smiles you two produced while looking at each other.  I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorites from your maternity session in Butte Creek Canyon.  I hope you smile as you look at these years from now.
