I met Heather and John out on their property in Willows, California, with their handsome sons, gorgeous in-laws, and all of their sweet grandchildren.  They have some new members that needed to be included in a family picture.  Originally, we had Heather and John’s family session scheduled on a stormy and windy day.  Fortunately, we traded in a not-so-desirable day for a day full of sunshine and warmth.  If you would like to see more large family sessions, please click on the following blog posts: Barbara, Chris + Abe, Laura, and Florence + Howard.

Spending time with Heather and John’s family did not feel like work.  I felt like I was hanging out with friends.  We were able to capture a variety of picture combinations.  My favorite moments may have been when Heather and John were taking pictures with their grandchildren, and a younger grandson reached over to Heather for his own hug while he was still in John’s arms.  I also loved capturing pictures of each individual couple.  I was able to see their true personalities and their love shine.  This also allowed for some genuine giggles to occur!

Heather and John, I am so envious of your family that is so full of love, hugs, and laughter.  I hope to have my family grow as yours has.  I could see how much your grandchildren love you two all by how you interacted.  I could see many similarities to how my children love their grandparents, and it warmed my heart to know that your family was having a similar experience.  I truly had a wonderful time with your family at your beautiful residence.  I am so excited for you to see some of my many favorite pictures from our time together.  I hope these bring smiles to your faces whenever you see the pictures on your walls.
