Jessekah and Andy’s engagement session was at the beautiful Richardson Springs Hotel on the outskirts of Chico, California.  This location is special to Jessekah; because her grandparents lived here, and her mother grew up running around on this property.  Jessekah and Andy were stunning throughout their session, but the banjo in Jessekah’s arms may have been my favorite moment from our time together.  To see more engagement sessions from this year, please click on Rubie and Ryan, Karah and Dan, and Leslie and Austin.

How They Met

Jessekah and Andy met during their high school days.  They started dating when they both were attending Shasta College.  They cannot even recall their first date, because they remember just always being together.  Jessekah traveled to Maine for school and then back to California to live in Concord and now back home. Jessekah and Andy have tested out their relationship as a long-distance and a short-distance relationship.  They are happy to be in the same town and now they get to test out calling each other fiancé.

The Proposal

Andy and his band had a gig at the local fair.  Andy let his band members know that he was going to propose to Jessekah two days before they played.  He made sure that all of their parents, family, and friends were in attendance for the proposal!  A band member called Jessekah on stage to help sing a song.  Jessekah did not even know the words to this song!  Once the song was over, Andy stood next to Jessekah; and then he got down on one knee as he asked Jessekah to marry him.  She said yes!  Andy picked out Jessekah’s stunning ring all on his own.  It is gorgeous!  Jessekah and Andy are getting married in April of 2019.

Jessekah and Andy, I had a wonderful time with you two at the Richardson Springs Hotel!  I love that this location holds a special place in your hearts.  I love all of the giggles and laughter you two can create on your own.  I can see how much love you two share for one another, and I can tell that this will last for a lifetime.  You two fit perfectly into each other’s arms, and I could see how much you both loved it when I had Andy pull Jessekah in a little closer.  You two are naturals in front of the camera, and I cannot wait to capture your big day in April.  I am so excited to share some of my many favorites with you!  Hugs!
