Florence and Howard wanted to get a family picture taken before their older granddaughter travels across the seas and their older grandson starts college outside of Chico.  The timeline was narrow, but we were able to get everyone together for a wonderful evening in Bidwell Park!  Thank you to Bridget for getting their session booked.  Florence and Howard’s family all looked beautiful, and they looked even happier when they all joined together for a family picture.  The weather was warm and the smoke was heavy from the recent Northern California fires, but the smoke diffused to the sunlight to give it a gorgeous golden hour glow.  You can view Bridget and Kory’s previous family session here.

Florence and Howard’s family session was full of laughter, jokes, and light-hearted sibling quarrels.  (All the way from the children to the adults!)  I loved their family’s sense of humor and quick wit.  Even though it was hot and uncomfortable, everyone was good-hearted and enjoyed their time with one another.  We were able to capture a large family together and then plenty of breakouts with individual families, couples, and siblings.  There is nothing quite as awkward as seeing your parents kiss in front of you or kissing your spouse with the whole family watching you!  Howard proved that he is the master at the GQ serious face competition!

Florence and Howard, I truly had such a wonderful time with your family.  Your family was so much fun to be around, and that made my job incredibly easy.  I loved having the opportunity to officially meet and interact with all of the family members that I have heard so much about from Bridget.  I feel like I have watched them grow up through Bridget’s stories throughout the years.  I loved seeing how your family interacts and how much joy radiates from your family.  It says a lot about how close you all truly are and how much value you place in your family.
